Playability Perfected
Designed for players looking to take the next step in their musical journey, the Player II Series includes a wide array of models, including multiple Stratocaster options (standard, HSS, left-handed configurations) and Telecaster options, (standard, HH, and left-handed configurations), as well as Jaguar, Jazzmaster, Mustang, Precision Bass, Jazz Bass, and Mustang Bass.
Unique Body Options
For Fender guitar lovers looking for something extra, the Stratocaster and Telecaster models are available in unique body options, including chambered ash (White Blonde, Butterscotch Blonde, Aged Cherry Burst finishes), and chambered mahogany (Transparent Cherry Burst, Transparent Mocha, Mocha finishes). These additional configurations provide not only a distinct look but also contribute to the resonant tones that define the Player II Series.
Enhanced Sound
Improving on the previous Player Series launched in 2018, Fender Player II series instruments feature specially voiced pickups to ensure each instrument captures the quintessential Fender tone.
The Stratocaster features Alnico V pickups for that classic single-coil sound, while the HSS model incorporates a blend of Alnico II and V for versatile tones. The Telecaster standard uses Alnico V pickups, while the HH model employs Alnico II for a warmer sound. The Jaguar and Jazzmaster models both benefit from newly voiced single-coil pickups that enhance their signature sounds. For bassists, the Precision Bass and Jazz Bass include powerful Alnico V pickups, delivering punchy and dynamic tones. The Mustang Bass also features Alnico V pickups, ensuring a robust and vibrant sound.
Quality & Craftsmanship
Every detail in the Player II Series is crafted with precision from the plastic parts to the new neck tint. Plus, the rosewood fingerboards (upgraded from Pau Ferro in the previous series) enhance both the feel and the aesthetics of these guitars. In addition to ClassicGear tuning machines, the Player II series features additional hardware upgrades, like Mustang bridges on the Jaguar and Jazzmaster models, ensuring precise tuning and excellent performance.
Modern Vintage
Inspired by vintage automotive colors, the Player II Series offers fresh finishes like Coral Red, Birch Green, Aquatone Blue, and Hialeah Yellow, each of which adds a touch of classic Fender charm to a modern package—especially the Player II Stratocaster in Coral Red and the Player II Telecaster in Birch Green, both of which stand out with their uniquely vibrant finishes.
