Benson Amps & Non-Human Audio Special Florist
After drooling over Non-Human Audio’s unique Slow Loris modulated slapback effect when Chris Benson met its designer Dave Jordan at a pedal event in Oklahoma City, Benson wound up offering to help get the effect in a different, possibly more controllable way. So, while the Florist starts with the core idea of the Slow Loris, it is something else entirely, with a delay range that is way faster than the original, and a redesigned signal path for higher fidelity—plus, a latching footswitch feature called GHOSTS, which creates feedback right on the verge of oscillation in both of the delay lines.
